The Richest Place On Earth
By Min. Roi | Download
Friend, someone once said that the richest place on earth is the graveyard, because in the graveyard are many unwritten books, business ideas that were not achieved, messages that were never preached, and talents that were never used. This is because many die without achieving the things God has placed in them. While this is true, let's consider it in a different light. You see, a man is more than his physical form; he is a spirit. The Bible in Job 32:8 says “But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.”
Notice, there is a spirit in man! and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them (the spirit) understanding! That means the ideas, books, and innovations come as inspiration from the Almighty for the spirit of man.
Inspiration doesn't come from the flesh; it comes from the spirit. Death, or physical death, is the separation of the spirit from the body.
“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:26
When Lazarus died in Luke 16:22,
“So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried.”
Notice, it wasn't his body the angels carried. It was his spirit; the real and inspired man, that they carried to Abraham's bosom. The body is buried in the graveyard, but the spirit man is carried away. The body is not the inspired man, so the graveyard is as empty as death itself. But you see, the Spirit that inspires men resides within those who have been born again!
Friend, the plans and purposes of God on this earth must surely be achieved, whether some people die without realising the full extent of God's plan for their lives. It may interest you to know that Judas died without fulfilling his Apostolic ministry, and he was replaced. Acts 1:20
For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.
A preacher once said, “Whatever you don't use, you lose.” God's plan cannot be stopped just because some people decide to walk in disobedience. God will bestow such a ministry on another man. The Spirit of God would inspire another man to write the unwritten books, and He would give those business ideas out to believers for fulfillment.
The richest place on earth is inside the born-again spirit man. Walk with this consciousness that you are a spirit being, and as a child of God, you carry riches inside you.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,” Ephesians 1:3
Notice, we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings; everything we would ever require in life is tied to that spiritual blessing, and it is in heavenly places in Christ. But the Bible still says in Colossians 1:27
“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”
You see, Christ is not only in heaven; Christ is in you. That means the riches of glory are Christ in you! Because inside Christ are all spiritual blessings. Therefore, the richest place on earth is inside the born again believer, because in him lie the riches of the glory (Spirit) of Christ. Now let's analyse several ways in which we can access the richest place on earth.
You Must Be Born Again:
Only the born again spirit carries Christ; therefore, if you are not born again, your spirit man is not the richest place on earth. Jesus said in John 3:3, “…verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” And in Luke 17:20–21, “When he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
It is only the born again spirit that carries a kingdom inside him. Not just any kingdom, but the Kingdom of God, the richest place on earth!
Prayer:
One way to access the riches of his glory is through a prayer of inquiry. The Bible in James 1:5 says “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
God still gives wisdom today. Wisdom is simply "what to do" about any given situation that would result in testimonies. Sometime ago, I went to a prayer room, and I cried to the Lord from my heart for about 30 minutes. I didn't pray out loud. It was a cry from the heart. All I asked for was what to do about a given situation that had been an issue in my life. And God gave me a night vision some days later, which led me to the mystery of the loins in feet washing. Friend, you can access the wisdom and riches of his glory through a prayer of inquiry. Don't look elsewhere for wisdom; look to the Spirit of God, who is the riches of the glory on your inside.
Now, still on the note of prayer, you can also access the inspirations God granted to a man during his days. Elisha dared to ask for a double portion of the Spirit upon Elijah. And Elijah was a prophet; prophets are divinely inspired men. Therefore, Elisha was asking to be divinely inspired after the order of Elijah, but in a double portion. And he took park of the bishopric of Elijah!
Several years ago, having listened to the messages and read some of the materials of the great teacher Derek Prince, I went to the Lord in prayer and said, “Lord, I want to partake in the ministry of Derek Prince.” And you see, months later, the Lord began to inspire me to write, the same way he inspired Derek Prince. You can partake of those business ideas; those unwritten books can be written by you. Jude 1:3 says, “Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.”
We are expected to earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints! There is no faith without the word of God, and God inspires us with his word. Therefore, we can contend for those things that were divinely inspired to the saints. King Solomon said, "There is nothing new under the sun." It only takes a new form and a different man. I pray that man will be you!
Faithful Service to God
I recall the story of the talents. How some servants who were given talents stood faithfully doing what God gave them. But one man refused to be faithful, and whatever you don't use, you lose. Remember, Jesus also said that this parable is likened to the Kingdom of God, the richest place on earth, which is inside the born again spirit. The story ended in favour of those who were faithful.
“Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.” Matthew 25:28
One of the things that qualified Matthias to partake in the bishopric of Judas was faithfulness in service. Look at his qualifications.
“Therefore, of these men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, beginning from the baptism of John to that day when He was taken up from us, one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.” Acts 1:21-22
He was there from the beginning. You don't know how much you lose by being unfaithful. In any organisation, the faithful ones are the ones that are promoted; the boss raises them more than others because he knows that the work will not die in their hands. The Bible states it clearly in James 4:6; “But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”
Don't be proud; stand faithful to every assignment, and God will inspire and uplift you. This is the mystery of the richest place on earth: whatever you don't use, you lose. Give your ability a responsibility today!
Jesus is Lord!
