How To Minister The Spirit

17And it shall come to pass in the LAST DAYS, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon ALL FLESH: and your sons and your daughters... your young men... your old men. 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit..
Acts 2:17-18
Friend, God's plan for your life is wrapped inside the eternal plan of God. That means one place to look out for if you are finding or seeking your purpose in life is in the plan of God and He has planned the ‘All Flesh Crusade!’
Notice these things:
1. He didn't say "last day," which speaks of one; He said "last days," as in many days.
That's why He said, "I will pour out in THOSE DAYS..." God has sworn to pour out His Spirit in these last days! That means what happened in the upper room on the day of Pentecost can repeat itself even today!
2. He said, "I will pour out of my Spirit upon ALL FLESH." You see, the target is ALL FLESH. Now, the last days started on the day of Pentecost, when the first set of people (120) received the initial infilling of the Holy Spirit. This was over 2000 years ago. I don't know what the world population back then was, but 120 compared to all flesh is pretty small.
Yes, all flesh means all flesh! This is why He said, "Your sons and daughters, your young and old men, your male and female servants!" ALL FLESH! God wants to pour out His Spirit on every person that comes into this planet called Earth! There are over 7.7 billion people in the world today, and God wants to pour out His Spirit on all of them! That means your neighbours, family members, friends, the old man on your street, the young girl in your house; all flesh means all flesh. God's plan is the All-Flesh Crusade! Its mission is to get everyone you come in contact with saved and filled with the Holy Spirit! That is God's plan for these last days. Don't be left out!
The Second Sign Of A Believer
Friend, after the resurrection of Jesus, He spent 40 days with His disciples "speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God" (Acts 1:1-2). Among the teachings, the Lord gave them five signs of a believer.
17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues... Mark 16:17
The second sign of a believer is that they will speak in new tongues! The disciples received this sign on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4). Remember, God's plan is the All-Flesh Crusade, intending to fill everyone on Earth with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:16-18). The Lord told His disciples about His grand All-Flesh Crusade: "And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following" (Mk. 16:20). One of these signs was the second sign of a believer, "and they shall speak with new tongues!"
How do we know this? When Peter and John went to Samaria, they preached and "then laid their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost" (Acts 8:17). When Peter visited the house of Cornelius, this sign followed him there as well. The Bible says, "While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on ALL them which heard the word... for they heard them speak with tongues..." (Acts 10:44-46). Although we don't know the exact number of people who received the Holy Ghost in Samaria, we know that ALL in the house of Cornelius received the Holy Ghost! The Lord loves to pour out His Spirit on ALL who hear the word.
The Apostles took the All-Flesh Crusade seriously! Paul the Apostle went about asking people, "Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?" (Acts 19:2). Why? To fulfil his part in the All-Flesh Crusade! Kenneth E. Hagin was instructed by God to lay hands on people to get them healed and filled with the Spirit. He counted thousands who received the Holy Ghost through his ministry.
They Went Forth And Preached Everywhere
Friend, I wasn't always aware of this All-Flesh Crusade, but I knew God planned to get people filled with the Holy Spirit. The first message I preached to a crowd was to a group of high school students, and I talked about "Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?" (Acts 19:2). I had just graduated from high school when I preached that message! Before entering college, I got some of my friends filled with the Holy Ghost in Lagos, Nigeria.
When I started college in Delta, Nigeria, I continued to help people receive the Holy Spirit. I can't count how many friends, fellowship members, and even strangers got filled. One day, I was in a class reading, and a lady walked in. She was a believer but hadn't received the Holy Ghost since she believed. I preached to her, then laid my hands on her, and the Holy Ghost came upon her. The Bible says the Apostles "went forth, and preached everywhere," and the second sign of a believer followed them; they got people filled, and they spoke in tongues (Mk. 16:20).
Notice that "they preached everywhere." The Lord will pour out His Spirit on anyone, anywhere! The disciples in Samaria got filled, Paul in Damascus got filled, Cornelius and his household got filled in his house, and 12 disciples on the streets of Ephesus through Paul got filled. I know a man who ministered to people everywhere. They were about 5 to 7 in number, and we were just outside the church in the evening at about 7. Then the man, Pastor Zion, told them to hold hands and be silent. I thought, "Does he realize we're on the road?" Before I knew it, the Holy Ghost fell on them, and they started dropping like trees.
They went forth and preached everywhere! The Holy Ghost didn't say, "Hmm, they are on the street, I won't fall." No, He still came down! The only atmosphere He needs is faith. Therefore, go forth, preach everywhere, and get people filled with the Spirit.
1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 Of the DOCTRINE OF BAPTISMS, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
Heb. 6:1-2
Friend, there are seven doctrines of Christ recorded in the Scriptures, and among them is the doctrine of baptisms. Notice it says baptisms, not baptism, indicating there is more than one type. These include baptism into Christ (being born again), water baptism by immersion, baptism of the Holy Spirit, and several infillings of the Spirit. The All-Flesh Crusade is not just a mandate of the Lord; it is one of His doctrines, which He expects the Church to carry out earnestly. Getting people saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit is the doctrine of Christ. One reason you should be involved in this All-Flesh Crusade is that it is a doctrine of Christ. It's not specific to any particular church or group within the body of Christ. No! Getting people filled with the Spirit is the doctrine of the body of Christ! You, your friends, and family members should be actively involved in it.
When I was allowed to lead a Christian fellowship in college, I made it a doctrine that no one could be an executive of the fellowship without being baptized in the Holy Spirit. I also set up a system where all our first-year students in the fellowship would be taught and filled with the Spirit. I'm not bragging about myself; all glory goes to God because He is the baptizer in the Holy Spirit. But we all have our parts to play. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is the doctrine of Christ, but is it your doctrine? It was the doctrine of the Apostles! Peter and John went to Samaria and saw the work that Philip did—he got people saved, healed, and delivered. They didn't just say, "Well done, Philip," and leave. No, they preached and laid hands on them to receive the Holy Spirit. There must have been hundreds, maybe thousands of people, yet they took their time.
I usually teach on the steps to getting filled and helping someone get filled with the Spirit. I taught a young man, and his friends and younger brother got filled! Be a part of this All-Flesh Crusade! Jesus is the only baptizer in the Holy Ghost, and we are like the disciples of John the Baptist, helping people get to Jesus, the Baptist.
There Is No Difference Between The Jews And Greeks
Friend, to fulfil your duties in this All-Flesh Crusade and help people get filled with the Spirit, you need to teach them that there's no difference between the Jews and the Greeks. Long ago, I ministered to a lady named Faith, the younger sister of my friend in a Christian campus fellowship. She came for her elder sister's graduation. I noticed she wasn't baptized in the Holy Spirit, and I was determined to help her before she left. After a prayer meeting, I asked her, "Are you baptized in the Holy Spirit?" She said, "Yes," but I followed up with, "Do you speak in tongues?" (I knew she didn't), and she replied, "No, I don't. Everybody has their gift, and my gift is not tongues." So, I asked her what her unique gift was, and as she began explaining, I realized she had misunderstood. I asked her to get her Bible, sat her down, and taught her that there's no difference between the Jew and the Greek.
Paul said, "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the SAME LORD OVER ALL IS RICH UNTO ALL THAT CALL UPON HIM." (Rom. 10:12). Notice, that God is rich unto all who call on Him. ALL means ALL—the poor, the rich, white, black, American, Nigerian—He's rich unto all. He doesn't differentiate or discriminate. Peter ministered in a Gentile's house (Cornelius), and "the rich unto all God" baptized Gentiles in the Holy Ghost. "While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on ALL them which heard the word... FOR THEY HEARD THEM SPEAK WITH TONGUES, and magnify God." (Acts 10:44-46). Then Peter opened his mouth and said, "Of a truth, I perceive that God is no respecter of persons" (Acts 10:34). He doesn't regard nations or tribes! What He does for one, He'll do for another!
In Acts 2:1-4, 120 people in the upper room received the Holy Ghost, and they all spoke in tongues! He didn't discriminate! When Peter preached to Cornelius, they all received the Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues. Even in Paul's ministry in Ephesus, he preached and "...laid his hands upon them (12 people), the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied" (Acts 19:6).
In all these scenarios, they all spoke in tongues when they received the Holy Ghost. So, I asked Faith, "What makes you different? How come you'd be different from the 120, from Peter, James, and John? What makes you so special?" Even Paul the Apostle, who received the Holy Ghost, admitted, saying, "I thank my God that I speak in tongues more than ye all." This broke the stronghold in her mind, and she also received and spoke in tongues.
You see, there is no difference between the Jews and the Greeks, for God is no respecter of persons, and you are not an exception. Friend, sometimes we need to break the strongholds over the minds of people to get through to them! This is why I teach this when I minister to people to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Study this chapter, teach it, and break strongholds.
Have You Received The Holy Spirit, Since You Believed?
We've seen that we have a part to play in helping people get baptized in the Holy Spirit because it is the will of God. We've also seen that there's no difference between the Jews and the Greeks. A major commonality among those baptized in the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues—no exceptions. But when helping others, we need to know when one can be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Is it before one is born again? Can people get baptized in the Holy Spirit before water baptism? Or must it be after baptism in water?
Let's start with the first question: Can an unbeliever be baptized in the Holy Spirit? No! Paul the Apostle, talking to 12 people in Ephesus, asked them, "Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?" (Acts 19:2). Notice, he said, "Since you believed." The Holy Ghost is a gift to the Church and is for believers alone. Remember Jesus said that the second sign of a believer is that they would speak in new tongues, which means being baptized in the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, one cannot receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit unless they are born again. Can people get baptized in the Holy Spirit before water baptism? Or does it have to be after water baptism? Yes, people can get baptized in the Holy Spirit before water baptism. After Peter the Apostle preached in the house of Cornelius, they all got saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit.
Notice what Peter said: "Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?" (Acts 10:47). He was referring to them being baptized in water after receiving the Holy Spirit. So, one can be baptized in the Holy Spirit before water baptism. In fact, Jesus was baptized in the Holy Spirit during His water baptism session. The Apostles, who were Jews, had already been baptized in water before being baptized in the Holy Spirit.
Thus, it is not compulsory to be baptized in the Holy Spirit after water baptism. You can be baptized in the Holy Spirit before, during, or after water baptism. Answering these questions can help us when we’re ministering to people to get them baptized.
Friend, Paul said, "He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?" (Galatians 3:5). What does Paul mean by "ministering the Spirit"? He meant getting people filled and refilled with the Holy Spirit.
Paul was a minister of the Spirit and worked miracles among the people. But there's a question: how did he minister the Spirit? By the works of the law? Or by the hearing of faith? Let's look at Acts 19:2-6:
"2He (Paul) said unto them (12 men in Ephesus), 'Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?' And they said unto him, 'We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.'"
Notice, that they had not even heard whether there was any Holy Ghost, so Paul preached to them. Now, verse 5 says, "When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus." And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. Notice how Paul ministered the Spirit. The first thing he did was teach them since they had not heard. Then he laid hands on them, and they received. James said, "If any of you lack wisdom...let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth...let not that man think that he shall receive anything (including the Holy Ghost) of the Lord" (James 1:5-8).
For those disciples to have received, they must have received in faith! And we know that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God! (Romans 10:17). "For how shall they believe on him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:14). So, we see that Paul ministered the Spirit by the hearing of faith! His results were 100%. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t want to do it any other way. You see, the word of God works for everybody! Paul ministered the Spirit by teaching the people how to receive from God, and their faith to receive came alive.
Friend, how shall they be baptized in the Spirit of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? I don’t know about you, but I'm going to be that preacher. I've been at it for years, and I'm still preaching!
Steps to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit
I've found that in applying scriptures, the words of Paul in 2 Timothy 2:5 are indeed worthy of attention: "5And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully." This simply means that if you apply the scriptures and it doesn’t work, then you may not have followed its principles correctly. There are specific steps to receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit and ministering the Spirit to others. We need to guide them through these steps successfully, or else they won't be crowned by the Spirit.
The steps are outlined in John 7:37-39:
"37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, 'If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.' 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 But this spake he of the Spirit."
1. If any man thirst
2. Let him come unto me
3. And drink
Thirst
What does it mean to be thirsty? Is it an overwhelming feeling of wantonness? Yes, in most cases, it is, but typically, a man who is thirsty for water simply wants to drink. So, to thirst for the baptism of the Holy Spirit is to desire to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. There's nothing inherently emotional about it. As ministers of the Spirit fulfilling the call to reach all flesh, we must learn to generate a thirst for the Spirit of God in people. This can be done by teaching them, telling them about the ministry of the Holy Spirit—how He would teach them, guide them into all truth, and that they would receive power after the Holy Ghost comes upon them!
Jesus generated thirst in His disciples through skillful teaching. He taught them about the Holy Spirit in John 16:7-16. In fact, He told them, "Nevertheless I tell you the truth, it is expedient (important, better) for you that I go away...but if I depart, I will send him unto you" (John 16:7). They must have wondered who this Comforter was, that it was better for Jesus to leave so He could come. Their thirst was so strong that they waited for 51 days before the Spirit of God came.
I usually spend about 10 to 15 minutes talking about the Holy Spirit and how I have a teacher-student relationship with Him. You can also share your personal experiences and testimonies of the Holy Spirit with them. All this would generate a thirst, but a thirst alone won't get the job done.
Proverbs 13:12 says, "Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life." You must teach them where to go to quench their thirst.
Let Him Come Unto Me
Notice that Jesus said, "Let him come unto me," not to the preacher—it's a personal, individual decision. Just as no one can thirst for someone else, no one can "come" for someone else. But did you also notice that Jesus said, "Let him come unto me" (unto who? Jesus?).
John the Baptist, in Matthew 3:11, said: "11I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he (Jesus) shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire."
This is why Jesus said, "Let him come unto me." Just as John baptized with water, Jesus is the baptizer in the Holy Ghost! A long time ago, a lady met Bishop David Oyedepo and said, "I've been to several reputable ministers in Nigeria seeking the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and yet nothing. So I've come to you." Bishop answered, "You've come to the wrong place then." She was startled, and he explained to her that Jesus is the baptizer in the Holy Spirit. When you minister the Spirit, you lead them to Jesus, not to yourself! This is why He said, "Let them come unto me."
Jesus is the one who baptizes people in the Holy Spirit. You wouldn't go looking for tyres in a tomato market, would you? So, as a minister, you must lead people to Jesus. But where can they find Jesus? How do they come to Him since He's the baptizer in the Holy Spirit? Hebrews 11:6 provides the answer:
"6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
So how do you come to Jesus? You come believing that He is the baptizer in the Holy Spirit. Friend, don’t lead people to yourself; lead them to God. It's like a car key—you might say, "I opened the car and switched it on," but in reality, it was the key that did the work. Without the key, you're helpless. In the same way, Jesus is the baptizer, and for people to come believing that He is, you must tell and teach them because faith comes by hearing.
God plans to fill everyone on Earth with His Spirit. There are over 7.7 billion people in the world today, and God wants to fill them all with His Spirit (Acts 2:16-19). To fulfill this plan, He has prompted me to write to you with all diligence, urging you to play a major role in helping those around you receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit!
Kenneth E. Hagin, a minister of the Spirit of blessed memory, counted over 10,000 people who got filled with the Holy Spirit through his ministry, among many thousands more. You too can achieve this, and even greater! Just learn to lead people to Jesus, who is the baptizer in the Holy Ghost. John 7:37 says, "If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink." The only way to get to Jesus is by coming in faith, but once they come to Him, what should they do? They should ask Him! Jesus is the baptizer, and you must lead them to Him, believing and asking in faith.
I often lead people in a brief prayer for the baptism of the Holy Spirit after teaching them, but it's not enough to simply ask—they must ask in faith. This is why teaching is so important if one is to successfully minister the Spirit to people. As ministers of the Spirit, we must help people receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit by leading them to ask Jesus to baptize them in faith. For example, I once ministered to a lady and explained Matthew 7:9-11, which says, "...what man is there of you, whom if his son asks bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks a fish, will he give him a serpent?" No man gives his child a stone instead of bread. But you see, "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?"
So, I asked her, "Is the Holy Ghost a good thing?" She replied, "Yes." Then I showed her Acts 1:1, which talks about "all that Jesus began to teach and to do." I said, "He's a doer of the things He teaches," and He taught, saying, "Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee." (Proverbs 3:27-28). I explained that Jesus wouldn't ask us to do what He is not committed to doing. If He says to forgive 70 times 7 times a day, then He forgives that much every day!
Friend, Jesus is the baptizer in the Holy Ghost, and if you ask Him for the Holy Ghost, He won't give you something else. And the best part is, He'll baptize you immediately! Did He not say, "Withhold not good"? Don’t tell them to come back tomorrow—He's no more powerful tomorrow than He is today. The lady's faith to receive from God came alive, and then I led her in prayer, asking Jesus to baptize her, and she received and spoke in tongues. But she had one challenge though—opening her mouth to speak in tongues. That’s the last step Jesus talked about in John 7:37. The Spirit of God expressly said, "Many are thirsty, and they come to me believing and asking, but most of them seem to miss the last step: drink!" Your text explains the steps to receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit and emphasizes the importance of drinking, which you describe as yielding to the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues.
Drink
Friend, in John 7:37, Jesus says, "If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink." The following verse clarifies that He was speaking of the Spirit. Jesus outlined the steps to receiving and ministering the baptism of the Spirit: first, thirst; then, come to Him believing that He is the baptizer in the Holy Spirit.
I lead people through this process when ministering to them. Most people grasp the earlier steps, but the last step—drinking—often proves the most challenging. Jesus said, "Drink!" Yes, drink! He is faithful; when you ask, He gives you the Spirit. He does not withhold good from those who ask (Proverbs 3:27). This is what I often tell those I minister to when they ask in faith, they immediately receive.
You might wonder, "How do you know they've received? They haven’t spoken in tongues yet, and isn’t that the sign?" Well, they won't speak in tongues until they obey Jesus and drink! What does it mean to drink? How does one drink of a Spirit they cannot see? How do you drink water? Is it not through your mouth, with the water going into your belly?
Similarly, it is with your mouth that you drink of the Spirit. Remember, Jesus said, "Out of their belly shall flow rivers of living water." However, He’s not referring to your physical belly but to your spirit man, your innermost being. One day, there was a dispute between Jesus and some Jews about the Jewish law of washing hands before eating. Jesus said, "It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man, but what comes out of the mouth." He explained that what comes out of the mouth can defile a man. Defile can be understood as "to fill with evil." The mouth is a gateway to two bellies: your natural belly through eating and your spiritual belly through speaking. What you speak fills your life! Proverbs 18:20 says, "A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled."
"4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." Acts 2:4
Notice that they spoke with their mouth! They opened their mouths and spoke. The Holy Ghost didn’t speak for them; He gave them utterances, but they did the speaking. It’s like a political leader who has a speech written for him by his secretary. He has to open his mouth and read the speech himself—the secretary doesn’t move his tongue for him. Similarly, to drink means to yield to the Holy Spirit within you and speak in tongues. Then the Spirit will come mightily upon you. Friend, guide people carefully through this last step: let them open their mouths in faith and speak!
The first time I ministered the baptism of the Spirit to some people, no one spoke in tongues! I went through all the steps—I taught them until they were thirsty, told them that Jesus is the baptizer, and led them to ask for the Holy Spirit. They received it, but I was clueless about the last step, "drink," so no one spoke in tongues. One day, I had the opportunity to minister alongside a pastor in my church in Lagos during our Believer’s Foundation class because I brought a new convert to the class.
It’s a doctrine in my church to always minister the baptism of the Spirit at the end of the Believer’s class. So, I watched how the pastor did it. He went through all the steps, and when he told them to ask Jesus to baptize them, he asked them to thank Him for it. Then he said, "Now open your mouth and speak in tongues." I was shocked! He asked me to speak in tongues and walk around them. He then told them to open their mouths and speak, reminding them that they shouldn't expect anyone to move their tongues for them.
To my amazement, many of them spoke in tongues, including my new convert. I was glad for him and excited because I had learned something valuable! Over the years, I’ve heard people ask, "Why do they ask people to open their mouths and speak? Are they teaching people how to speak in tongues?" Beloved, only the Holy Ghost teaches people how to speak in tongues! 1 John 2:27 says:
"27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."
Notice that the anointing abides in you! Where? In your spirit man. When you were born again, you received the Holy Ghost in you! The baptism of the Spirit is the same Holy Ghost coming upon you. It is the Spirit in you that teaches you all things, including tongues! This is why an unbeliever cannot receive the baptism of the Spirit and speak in tongues because it is the Spirit in your spirit that gives you the utterances, and then the Holy Ghost comes upon you.
This is why no one in the Old Testament spoke in tongues; there was no Spirit within them giving them the utterance. When you minister to people, tell them to give voice to the words that the Spirit of God in them is writing. I believe you will do great things by obeying this "all flesh" crusade command.
The Assurance for an Infilling of the Holy Spirit
Friend, while preparing to minister at a meeting called "The Holy Ghost Hour," I spent time studying Acts 2. Though I’ve studied this passage many times, the Lord revealed something new to me that day, which I’d like to share with you. Acts 2:17 says, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh." The Lord pointed out, "Did you notice it says 'last days' and not 'last day'?" He continued, "There are many last days, and what happened on the day of Pentecost can still repeat itself." I was amazed! But take note: He said, "It shall come to pass..." This is a prophetic decree—something that must happen. In Acts 4, the Apostles "were all filled with the Holy Ghost" again. In Acts 8, what happened to the disciples on Pentecost took place in the city of Samaria. In Acts 10, there was another outpouring of the Spirit. And in Acts 19, the Holy Ghost descended upon 12 disciples in Ephesus.
Why? Because He said, "It shall come to pass in the last days." The Lord showed me that in these last days, He has sworn to pour out His Spirit! The day of Pentecost can be repeated anywhere, anytime. Why? Because God has sworn it. This insight inspired the message I preached at that meeting, which I titled "The Last Days." And you know what? As I was teaching, the Holy Ghost fell! There was indeed a mighty outpouring of the Spirit—Pentecost repeated!
Why? Because God said so! I also came across this verse: "Thus saith the Lord GOD, 'There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done,' saith the Lord God" (Ezekiel 12:28). Friend, His word is the assurance for an infilling of the Spirit, as long as we follow and lead people through the protocols of the last days as dictated by our Lord Jesus in John 7:37: that is, thirst, come unto Me, and drink! An outpouring is inevitable.
Therefore, be strong in faith! Through your hands, many will be led to receive this infilling. Just as the Apostles "went," go everywhere, preach, and God will confirm His word with signs of His Spirit following you!
Jesus is Lord!
